Concrete and Paper
An event organized by Alicubi, dedicated to the history of the Porcheddu family through two recent publications on Giovanni Antonio Porcheddu, a pioneer of reinforced concrete in Italy, and Beppe Porcheddu.
More than a traditional conference, Concrete and Paper will provide an opportunity for dialogue among authors, scholars, and the public, offering fresh perspectives on remarkable works, personal stories, and the historical transformations that shaped an era.
At the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to join a guided tour of Toolbox Coworking, where the visible structures still bear witness to engineer Porcheddu's architectural and engineering legacy.
