Biography

After graduating in Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis entitled 'Degradation of reinforced concrete works in an Alpine environment' I chose to continue my studies with a PhD. This path aims to achieve greater objectivity in the study of the structural performance of flexible rockfall barriers and it is carried out in collaboration with the Swiss manufacturing company Geobrugg. During the research periods spent aboad I have had the oppurtunity to participate to the planning and execution of a corrosion test campaign on metallic components.I also deal with the development of analytical modeling and numerical simulations.
